Grenada
Citizenship by Investment Program
ABOUT GRENADA
Grenada is a beautiful island nation located in the southeastern corner of the Caribbean Sea, discovered by Columbus in 1498. The country boasts breathtaking landscapes, with a significant portion of its territory covered by tropical forests and lush vegetation. Known as the ‘Spice Isle,’ Grenada is renowned for its production of spices such as cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Its picturesque bays have also made it a popular vacation destination for travelers from around the world. In its early history, Grenada was inhabited by indigenous communities, and later came under the colonial rule of both the British and the French. It gained autonomy in 1958 and finally declared independence in 1974.
Grenada introduced its Citizenship by Investment Act (Act No. 15 of 2013) on August 29, 2013. This legislation allows foreign investors to obtain citizenship through a stringent legal process. Applicants are required to make a donation to the “National Transformation Fund (NTF)” or by investing in government-approved real estate projects, while meeting the government’s background checks. The investment citizenship program in Grenada offers a streamlined approval process, making it one of the most cost-effective options for second citizenship. Grenadian passport holders can benefit from visa-free travel to 148 countries, providing a convenience in global mobility.
