Citizenship by Investment Program

Vanuatu is a beautiful country located in the South Pacific Ocean, comprising 80 islands that span 1,300 kilometers. With much of its area covered with tropical rainforests and aqua blue coastlines, Vanuatu is a perfect vacation destination. Vanuatu has strong ties to Australia (only 2.5 hours flight time from Brisbane) and there has been educational collaboration between Vanuatu and Australia – with Australian universities offering scholarships and opportunities for Ni-Vanuatu students. This growing significance of education among Vanuatu nationals has certainly strengthened the relationship between the country and the rest of the world.

The Vanuatu Development Support Program was launched in 2017 under the Citizenship Act, Chapter 112 of the Laws of Vanuatu. The Program is intended to raise funds to support Vanuatu’s infrastructure and to promote the economic development of the country. The Citizenship program is fully recognised by the Vanuatu Government and applicants granted citizenship under this program enjoy full rights to reside in Vanuatu. Although the European Council removed visa-free access to the Schengen area, the passport still provides entry to Hong Kong, Singapore, Russia and many more countries; ranking among the top 100 passports in the world.
